NNMT is an enzyme that methylates nicotinamide (a form of vitamin B3) into 1-methylnicotinamide, using S-adenosylmethionine (SAM) as the methyl donor. In obesity, aging, and metabolic disease states, NNMT is overexpressed in fat and muscle. This pulls nicotinamide away from the NAD+ salvage pathway, lowers intracellular NAD+ levels, reduces sirtuin activity, and disrupts mitochondrial function and energy metabolism.
Mechanism of action
Synthetic Thymosin Beta-4 analog; binds actin to regulate polymerization, promote cell migration, angiogenesis, and progenitor cell mobilization.
Lyophilized: -20°C, stable 24 months. Post-reconstitution: 4°C, use within 30 days. Protect from light.
Add 1-2 mL bacteriostatic water slowly along the vial wall. Gently swirl — do not shake. Allow 5-10 min for complete dissolution.
